Monday 4th June
Depart U.S.A. for Ireland.
 
Tuesday 5th June
Arrive into Dublin airport, meet your driver-guide and head south to the medieval city of Kilkenny for check-in at the Pembroke Hotel. An afternoon walk around Irelands number one medieval city. This evening enjoy a meet and greet reception following with dinner.
 
Wednesday 6th June
Depart south to Thomastown with a visit to Jerpoint Abbey, continue through the beautiful valley at Inistioge to New Ross and a tour of the famine ship Dunbrody berthed on the river. Drive through the John F Kennedy National Park, return to Kilkenny for dinner and overnight.
 
Thursday 7th June
Take the mountain drive through the wild Rhoddendron’s to the Heritage town of Lismore and its beautiful castle set high above the river. Next stop will be at the Jameson distillery at the town of Middleton for a tour and a sample. Drive through Cork to Blarney where you will have free time to visit the famous castle and woollen mills. Late afternoon drive to Killarney for dinner and overnight.
 
Friday 8th June
Full day tour on the spectacular Dingle Peninsula where you can explore the ancient beehive huts and the old world fishing village of Dingle. Return to Killarney for dinner and overnight.
 
Saturday 9th June
Head north to Tralee, Listowel and Tarbert where you can cross the Shannon river into county Clare, follow the coastline to Milltown Malbay and the “Armada” Hotel on the Atlantic Coast at Spanish Point for dinner and overnight on the ocean.
 
Sunday 10th June
Drive north along the coast to the “Cliffs of Moher” and the majestic views of Galway Bay and the Aran Islands, continue through the unusual landscape of the “Burren” in north county Clare and along the south side of the bay through Galway to the Village of Bearna on the north side of the bay for overnight and dinner at the Twelve Hotel.
 
Monday 11th June
Day tour on rugged Connemara with stops at Connemara Marble and Celtic Crystal. Afternoon free in the bustling city of Galway. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
 
Tuesday 12th June
Head east through Loughrea and Ballinasloe to the 6th century monastic settlement at Clonmacnoise on the banks of the river Shannon an important location visited by the Pope in 1979. Continue south to the town of Birr, home of the gardens at Birr Castle. Travel the short distance to Kinnitty Castle for dinner and overnight.
 
Wednesday 13th June
North to Tullamore, Mullingar to Kells, this is the town where the world famous “Book of Kells” was produced at the monastic settlement. Next stop will be at Newgrange where you will learn the history of one of the worlds oldest monastic sites. Continue to the town of Trim where you will find the remains of one of Irelands largest castles. Dinner and overnight at Trim Castle Hotel.
 
Thursday 14th June
Morning departure to Dublin city where you will enjoy a tour of the capital and free time before returning to Trim for our final evening in Ireland.
 
Friday 15th June
Travel to Dublin airport for your return flight home.
