Leave Bunratty and travel to the majestic Cliffs of Moher raising a sheer 700ft from the ocean. A stop here before travelling south along the Atlantic coast to catch the ferry across the longest river in the British Isles the River Shannon. The short crossing brings you to county Kerry and onwards then to the town of Killarney. Killarney is the birth place of Irish tourism and its location at the base of Ireland’s highest mountains surrounded by three lakes can only make you see why its beauty has struck many a poet and artist.

Late afternoon take the local horse and buggy ride through the national park along the middle lake to the Victorian Muckross House, where there is a guided tour through the house.  Join your coach to bring you back to the town and your hotel.

A welcome drink followed by dinner in your hotel.

July 25th

This morning travel out to the picturesque fishing town of Dingle and continue along the Slea Head drive on the Dingle Peninsula. This spectacular drive brings you along the edge of the Atlantic where mountain and sea collide. The Peninsula is also brimming full of pre historic forts and early Christian dwellings and you will have a chance to visit the ancient bee hive huts the hermit monk’s early dwellings. Travel past Ireland and Europe’s most westerly point as you return to the town of Dingle where you will have some free time for lunch - try the local fish and chips!  Late afternoon return to the town of Killarney and have the remainder of the afternoon and evening free to try some of the local restaurants or traditional music in some of the local pubs for which the town is famous.

July 26th 	
9:00am	
Leaving Killarney travel to the town of Mallow and onto Michelstown before reaching the historic Rock of Cashel, an icon of Ireland and originally the seat of the Kings of the province of Munster. Then in the 11th century handed over to Christianity when it became a major ecclesiastical centre in Ireland, its churches cathedrals and round tower encompassed by a curtain wall sitting atop a 200ft limestone outcrop, where you will have a guided tour. Onwards from here to the town of Clonmel for some free time before travelling onwards to Waterford and check in at the various hotels at the end of your pre tour.
