Self Drive Conditions
A non refundable deposit of $200 per person is required to confirm your reservation. Reservations will not be held until a deposit is received and is subject to availability. Final balance due 60 days before departure. Reservations made within two months of departure must be paid in full at time of booking. The company reserves the right to cancel any booking if final payment is not received by the due date. Deposits and payments can be made by check or credit card. We accept MasterCard and VISA. All charges are taken in Ireland.
Cancellations: (Cancellation policy only applies to bookings made with Terry Flynn Tours or their agents)
Must be confirmed in writing.
Cancellation charges per person as follows:
Date of booking to 60 days $200 deposit non-refundable
59 / 30 days prior to departure 15% of final balance & deposit
29 / 15 days prior to deparure 25% of final balance & deposit
14 / 4 days prior to departure 50% of final balance & deposit
3 days or less prior to departure NO REFUNDS
Deposits or pre-payments to properties made on behalf of clients are non-refundable. As requirements vary in some locations these conditions will be available on request when booking. For late bookings express postage charges will be paid by the client.
Travel Insurance:
Terry Flynn Tours is pleased to offer Travel Insurance to help you protect your payment made for travel plans. We strongly recommend insurance coverage to protect you from any unforseen health problems that may arise. To benefit from full coverage, premium should be paid at the time of deposit for coverage to apply. Please go to the travel insurance section on our website to get a quote.
Changes:
A fee of $25 per change will be charged for any changes made to any existing self-drive booking. These fees are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Exchange Rates:
The dollar rates shown in this brochure are based on exchange rates in effect on January 1, 2012. These are subject to currency fluctuations without notice. For clients paid in full on the due date TERRY FLYNN TOURS guarantees no surcharge on the land package.
Responsibilities:
We accept responsibility for insuring that all elements of your self-drive program we have booked are as described in your information. We accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to any delay or cause beyond our control, including air transportation. All such expenses will be borne by the client(s). We disclaim any responsibility or liability whatsoever for loss, damage, injury or expense to person or property due to any cause occuring during your vacation. This includes items left at accommodation or in rental cars.
Car Insurance & CDW:
Unlimited mileage, third party insurance, (this covers damage to a third party but not you) theft protection and taxes are included in the car rental cost. CDW insurance (which covers your car) can be purchased when booking the car at a cost of $12 per day. There is still a deductible when CDW insurance has been purchased. Clients must leave a credit card deposit of €1000-€1500 (depending on vehicle type) to cover the deductible or purchase OPTIONAL insurance to bring the deductible liability down to €100. The deductible deposit and OPTIONAL deductible insurance is handled directly by the car hire company when picking up the car in Ireland.
AGE LIMIT:
The minimum driving age is is 21 years, there is no maximum age limit. Persons ages 21 to 25 years are subject to a daily supplement paid directly to the car hire company.

Location charges:
The following location charges apply to all car rental pick up's and are paid directly to the car hire company.
€60 for all collections and drop off's at Dublin ferry ports
€80 delivery charge to city centre hotel Dublin
Driving license:
Drivers must produce a currect driving license issued in their state or country of residency clear of endorsements and minimum driving experience of 2 years.
Extra driver:
The supplement charge for an additional drvier is €8 per day and is payable locally at start of hire.
